Register for electricity

If you move into a new home in the greater Innsbruck area, we’ll be happy to deal with your electricity registration and provide you with important telecommunications products such as internet, telephone and TV. This is where you can find all the information about registering for electricity. The IKB supplies high-quality, sustainable green electricity on fair terms.

What’s required for registration?

• First name/surname
• or company name
• Date of birth
• or company register number/VAT no.
• Address
• Invoice address
• Email address
• Telephone number
• Date of registration

You can register for IKB electricity in the following ways:

• By email: simply fill out the registration form (PDF in German only) and send it to kundenservice(at)ikb.at. An employee will contact you and process your electricity application.
• In person: at our customer centre at Salurner Straße 11 in Innsbruck
• By phone: Austria-wide on our free customer hotline 0800 500 502, from abroad on +43 512 502 56 39. Please note that the recorded message is only available in German. You can also use our callback service by filling out our contact form.

You can register for electricity up to two months before your move. We’ll take note of your application and activate it as soon as your predecessor has deregistered their electricity account at this address.
